Key Responsibilities

 

Sales Management & Business Development

 

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, while ensuring excellent customer experience.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Plan and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events in coordination with the head office.
  • Support existing clients and conduct product presentations independently.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop sales strategies and explore new market opportunities.

 

Market Research & Strategy

 

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies and business development efforts.
  • Stay up to date on relevant industry developments in Ireland (e.g. pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, and chemical sectors) and adjust approaches accordingly.

 

Relationship Management & Growth

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including direct customers, EPCs, system integrators, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals.

 

Financial & Demand Planning

 

  • Track and analyse sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support budget planning and cost control, working alongside senior management.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and product mix optimisation to enhance profitability.
  • Assist with demand planning to ensure accurate sales forecasts and inventory management.

 

Your Profile

 

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, process engineering, instrumentation, analytical measurement, or chemical industries. A strong understanding of the sales processes, customer requirements and commercial environment within these industries is essential.

 

Technical Qualification

 

  • Ideally, you will have a background in measurement and control technology, instrumentation, process engineering, automation or a related technical discipline.
  • A strong understanding of analytical measurement technologies, particularly pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen (DO), is considered essential.
  • This knowledge will enable you to quickly engage with customers and technical applications without requiring extensive initial training.

 

Industry Network

 

  • You have access to and an established network within industries relevant to our business.
  • Existing relationships within the BioPharma sector are highly desirable.
  • Additional contacts within the chemical, food & beverage and wider process industries would be considered a significant advantage.

 

Application Expertise

 

  • You possess practical experience with process analytical instrumentation and measurement applications.
  • You are familiar with measurement points involving parameters such as pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen.
  • Ideally, you have previous experience selling, specifying, integrating, commissioning, or supporting comparable instrumentation solutions within pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or food production environments.

We are seeking a Member Engagement Manager to further develop, strengthen and strategically grow our business network. This role combines relationship management, business development, stakeholder engagement and operational ownership within one of Ireland’s leading international business organisations. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing long-term member relationships, driving membership engagement and identifying strategic partnership opportunities across the Chamber network.

 

Your Role

 

As Member Engagement Manager, you will act as a key point of contact for both existing and prospective members. The role requires a commercially minded relationship builder who is comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers, developing long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow the Chamber network. We are seeking a commercially driven and internationally minded Business Development Coordinator to support and expand our bilateral business development activities. The role combines client relationship management, market development, project delivery and stakeholder engagement within one of Ireland’s leading international business organisations.

 

Your Role

 

As Business Development Coordinator, you will act as a key point of contact for Irish and German companies seeking support with market entry, business expansion and international partnership development.

The role requires a commercially aware relationship builder who is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities and delivering projects from concept to execution. You will work closely with colleagues across different Chamber departments and support the strategic development of DE International services, trade initiatives, delegation visits and business partnerships.
