About Us

Ur client is a market-leading and award-winning recruitment agency specialising in the Construction and Mechanical & Electrical sectors. With offices in Cork and Dublin and international operations in Poland and Denmark, we work with the majority of the Top 50 Construction firms in Ireland and are rapidly expanding across Europe.

With growing demand from our Irish construction clients for projects in Germany (particularly in the Data Centre and Pharmaceutical sectors), we are looking for a Business Development / Account Manager based in Germany to support our continued European expansion.

Role Overview

This is a dynamic, field-based role (approx. 80% travel) for a highly organised and people-oriented professional. You will act as the central link between three key stakeholders:
- Construction clients: understanding their project staffing needs and timelines;
- Internal recruitment teams (in Ireland and Poland): ensuring client requirements are clearly communicated and supported;
- Temporary site workers: facilitating onboarding and serving as the local point of contact.

This is not a traditional sales role — it is relationship-driven and operationally hands-on, with direct impact on project delivery and workforce coordination.

Key Responsibilities

·Develop and maintain strong relationships with construction clients in Germany to understand staffing needs, timelines, and site-specific requirements.

·Conduct regular client site visits to build trust and ensure a constant feedback loop between client needs and internal recruitment efforts.

·Serve as the main point of contact for both our recruitment teams and construction clients to coordinate job orders, track progress, and solve issues.

·Coordinate onboarding and ongoing support for temporary site staff:
  - Assist with pre-onboarding tasks and logistics (e.g., contracts, documentation);
  - Organise accommodation when necessary;
  - Facilitate inductions and check-ins on the first day and beyond;
  - Act as the key local contact for any issues arising during employment.

·Oversee administrative duties:
  - Update internal systems (e.g., CRM) with orders, visit reports, client feedback, site worker data;
  - Manage pricing, hours, and margins in collaboration with finance and payroll;
  - Retrieve weekly timesheets and ensure accurate client billing.

·Collaborate with our digital marketing and business development teams to grow the Ward Personnel brand in Germany through local networking and promotional initiatives.

Profile – You Will Ideally Have

·Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combined operations, client-facing and/or recruitment coordination role – ideally in construction or a similar field.

·Fluent English and good working knowledge of German (additional languages a plus).

·Excellent interpersonal skills and a confident, proactive mindset — able to liaise with site workers and senior managers alike.

·A strong sense of ownership and ability to manage responsibilities independently, especially when working remotely or on-site.

·Valid EU driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across Germany.

·Excellent organisational, IT and administrative skills.

·Degree qualified (desirable but not essential).

·Knowledge of the German construction or labour market is an advantage.

What We Offer

·Competitive base salary with commission and performance-related bonus.

·Extensive training and onboarding support.

·The opportunity to be part of a growing international business and make a real impact.

·Clear path for career progression in a high-growth environment.

Salary 55K – 65K
