The German-Irish Business Award, presented by the German-Irish Chamber of Industry & Commerce (AHK Ireland), is a prestigious award that recognises outstanding achievements by member companies in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and their contributions to strengthening German-Irish business relations.
This award recognises companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to social responsibility and the promotion of bilateral economic relations between Germany and Ireland.
The selection is based on the following criteria:
- Sustainable social commitment (CSR) (1-20 points)
- Commitment to German-Irish economic relations (1-10 points)
Conditions of participation:
All member companies of the AHK Ireland that stand out due to their sustainable social commitment and their contribution to deepening German-Irish economic relations are eligible to participate.
The projects submitted will be assessed by a jury consisting of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ireland, David Gill, the President of the AHK Ireland, Joe Walsh and Senator Gerald Craughwell.
Award ceremony:
The award ceremony will take place at the First Annual German-Irish Business Gala on the 7 November 2025. The winner will receive media visibility through AHK Ireland's communication channels.
