Celebrating International Women’s Day Together
Once again this year, we are delighted to host a special event in celebration of International Women’s Day. A day that shines a global spotlight on the visibility, strength and diversity of women.
Women remain underrepresented in many areas of our society. For us, this makes it all the more important to provide a platform, create spaces for exchange, and collectively set impulses for greater equality and visibility.
We are particularly proud that our Chamber team is made up of 50% outstanding, dedicated women. From our CEO and Office Management to Business Development, HR, Events and Social Media, women actively and impactfully shape our work across all areas.
A key highlight of the morning will be a fireside chat between our CEO Stefanie Ziska and Ivana Bacik, Leader of the Irish Labour Party and a Member of the Irish Parliament. In this personal conversation, they will discuss the role of women in today’s society, political and social responsibility, and Ivana Bacik’s own journey. For over 30 years, she has been a committed advocate for equality, women’s rights and social justice. As a lawyer, former university lecturer and long-standing activist, she played a leading role in historic societal milestones such as the Marriage Equality referendum and the Repeal the 8th campaign in Ireland.
