With our Behind the Scenes series, we offer special insights into the inner workings of companies and organisations.
For the second event in this series, Behind the Scenes takes us to Dublin Port. For more than 300 years, the port has shaped Dublin’s development and, as Ireland’s most important port, is now a key driver of trade, logistics and the economy. Almost 50% of the Republic of Ireland’s goods trade is handled here.
Participants will gain fascinating insights into the operations of one of Ireland’s most significant infrastructure hubs during an exclusive bus tour. With an annual freight volume of around €165 billion and 1.6 million passengers, Dublin Port is the operational heart of the capital and far beyond.
At the same time, the port is deeply connected to the history of Dublin, the local communities and the development of Dublin Bay. The protection and sustainable development of the surrounding biosphere also play an important role.
This event is aimed at members and partners who:

- Parking information: The car park is located behind the office building. Please follow the signs, park on the ground floor and then walk to the front of the building. Please do not use the rear entrance.
