On Wednesday, 17 June 2026, the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Ireland) hosted its annual Members’ Summer Reception at the Residence of the German Ambassador in Dublin. The event brought together members, partners and friends of the Chamber for an evening of networking, exchange and strengthening German-Irish business relations.
A special thank you goes to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ireland, H.E. David Gill, for welcoming guests to his residence and providing a wonderful setting for the evening.
The reception opened with remarks from Ambassador Gill and Joe Walsh, President of the Chamber, who highlighted the importance of continued cooperation and close connections between Germany and Ireland and the upcoming EU presidency from July to December this year.
The evening brought together professionals from across the German-Irish business community. Guests enjoyed the relaxed summer atmosphere while reconnecting, building new relationships and discussing current developments and future opportunities.
The event once again showcased the strength of the AHK network and the value of personal connections in fostering successful business partnerships.
